Privacy
Short version: your guest list never leaves your device. We can’t see it, sell it or lose it.
What the planner stores, and where
Plans you create — guest names, households, groups, meals, dietary and access notes, private notes, tables and room layouts — are saved in your browser’s storage on your device (IndexedDB, with a copy in localStorage for recovery). They are not sent to our servers. Clearing your browser data, or using a private window, removes them; download a backup file to keep a copy.
Links you share
“Send a copy” links contain a full copy of the plan, compressed into the part of the link after the “#”. Browsers do not send that part to the server, so the plan travels directly between you and the person you send it to. Treat the link like the guest list itself.
Seat-finder links and QR codes contain only guest first names, last names and table names. Anyone who has the link or scans the code can see that list.
What our server sees
Like any website, our hosting provider receives standard request information (IP address, browser type, the page requested) to serve pages and protect against abuse. We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. If that ever changes, this page will be updated first and you will be asked where consent is required.
Fonts and third parties
All fonts and scripts are served from our own domain. The planner makes no requests to third-party services.
Children’s data
Guest lists may include children’s names. Because that data stays on your device, it is under your control at all times.
Your rights
As we don’t hold your plan data, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. You can delete any plan from “Your plans” in the planner, or by clearing your browser’s site data.
